Technical Support

We pride ourselves on responsiveness to our customers. Your technical support as a Data Simplicity customer will come from the very programmers and analysts who designed and built your software. We never outsource our technical support, because no generic phone center will ever be able to support our customers as well as we do.

In addition, while other software companies will sell you software and services "As-Is", our software comes with a guarantee. If you find an error in our programming, we will fix it for free. This offer does not apply to hardware or software conflicts or other problems that our outside of our control. Please talk to us in more detail and read your contract carefully before you hire us. But in general, our philosophy is that our software should work correctly, and that we fix any bugs in our own software, no matter when you find them.

What makes us so confident and keeps the bugs at bay? We re-use and re-test our code from customer to customer. This saves you money, and helps us to deliver code that has already been used successfully by the customers who came before you.

 

Hourly Support

In addition to fixing our own bugs (which are rare) for free, we also provide other types of technical support on an hourly basis at the rate of $100.00 per hour, pre-paid. We often ask you to e-mail us a copy of your database, or have us download it from your site, so that we can see exactly where the problem lies. Then we can either fix it for you, or get on the phone with you and walk you through the solution to your problem step by step. It's your choice.

We bill you in advance, but we then use up your pre-paid time in 1-minute increments, so you won't overpay for our services.
